Skeebopper

I had a lot of fun writing lyrics that made absolutely no sense. This is literally my first time using garage band, so it was nice to just start with mixing voices without anything fancy. I also appreciated the fact that this first submission was for something silly — as someone who is extremely corny, it was a very approachable format for me. Excited to do more of this with you all!

Lyrics:

Well it’s Saturday night and the party’s hot

Everybody’s waiting for the roaring to start

And when the landlord rolls up and starts to pout

When the pizza queen comes rolling in and steals your heart

The skeebopper – it’ll make you shout

It will roll you up and turn you in and spit you out

And when the landlord says that he’s cutting the trout

Well the skeeboppers hoppers will pop you out

The skeebopper – it skees your knees

It’s what they’re talking about across the seven seas

The skeeboppers hopping up the fleas you sneeze

Please please skeebopper won’t you squeeze my cheese

The skeebopper – waddily bop

The muckracker racker is gonna call up the cop

The popsi copsi popsicle and what have you got?

The skeebopper’s copper – and that says a lot

The skeebooper – shee boop shee wee

I’d like a stinking akin shake called a vanilla freeze
